Adopt a Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Scooter the Cat needs a home

Special needs kitten with love to give!

ID:  Scooter

"Special Needs Kitten"

This sweet girl showed up as a stray at a local emergency clinic with evidence of trauma to her spine and fracture to her left hind leg. She is very affectionate, purrs as soon as she sees anyone, enjoys playing with her toys and loves food! She does not have conscious control of her back legs but that doesn't slow her down and she scoots all over the place and can easily pull herself in/out of her kitty bed! She will likely spend her life in a wheelchair (which will be provided to her adopter) and will need her bladder/bowels regularly expressed. This kitten is special  needs a requires a very committed owner. She would likely do well in a home with cats, dogs and children.

Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have are Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped. The fee to adopt is $90 for kittens or $60 for adults over 1 year (the fee helps cover these costs and the cost of the microchip registration).
